- FMD> 1. Editor Bug: When I Cut something from window#2, paste it on
- FMD> window#1
- FMD> and then close window#2, the stuff I pasted is deleted again from
- FMD> window#1. Luckily, it's still in the buffer, so I can paste it
- FMD> again.
-
- This has never happened to me. Check your memory or setup or somthing?

- FMD> 2. Dual Playfield: Dual playfielding with an unpacked screen (a
- FMD> screen
- FMD> that wasn't opened with screen open) results in major screen mess
- FMD> up.
- FMD> Oh, btw, those of you who are developing the updated AMOSPro, will
- FMD> there
- FMD> be more colours available in a dual Playfield on an AGA machine? And
- FMD>
- FMD> would it be possible to create a triple, or even quadruple
- FMD> playfield?
-
- Not being a developer (what have they done so far. Last I heard they still
- hadn't gotten the source from Europress) I'll answer anyway.
- In the hardware reference guide it says that you can only have the number
- of colours that amos already uses. So unless the hardware changes (I'm not
- sure about AGA, as I have a A2000) I don't think this will be possible.

- FMD> Also, somebody said (quite a long time ago) that he'd send me some
- FMD> explanation of the HTan function, if nobody else would. Well, nobody
- FMD> else
- FMD> has (poor me), so couold you please?

- OH dear here we go:
- Hyperbolic functions are used in engineering. They represent the tension in
- a hanging cable, such as power lines or a suspension bridge.
- There are major difference between hyperbolic functions (htan) and circular
- functions (tan).
- The circular functions are periodic, that is they repeat each cycle, 360
- degrees, etc.
- Hyperbolic functions are not periodic.
-
- sin x varies between -1 and +1 , oscillates
- hsin x varies between -infinity and + infinity ,steadily increases.
- cos x varies btween -1 and +1 , oscillates.
- hcos x varies between +infinity to +1 to + infinity
- tan x varies between - infinity and + infinity
- htan x varies from -1 to +1
